Review by hotel critic
Review of Hi AlmadaDuring my recent stay at Hi Almada, I experienced an intriguing balance of luxury and value. Nestled in a prime location, the hotel offers breathtaking views of Lisbon across the river, making it an ideal base for adventurers and history enthusiasts alike. My room featured a spacious terrace with garden furniture, allowing for tranquil moments to soak in the picturesque scenery. The added convenience of a lockable cupboard provided piece of mind during my travels. Though the infrastructure served its purpose, I found the housekeeping could have been improved, which I hope will be addressed. The communal areas include a leisure room with a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi, which worked efficiently in the reception area. The inclusion of breakfast and the option for a 24-hour reception add to the overall value proposition. While a few hiccups, like the disruption from bed bugs, marred an otherwise enjoyable experience, the staff's kindness and the hotel's unique features warrant consideration. For those seeking a blend of comfort and affordability, Hi Almada remains a strong choice.
